We provide information and access to records to adoptees who were placed for adoption by the Crusade of Rescue, as we were formerly known, and statutory counselling and mediation services to those who are seeking birth relatives.
We provide advice, support and mediation services to birth relatives looking for those previously placed for adoption.
We provide information and access to records for people who were cared for in our Crusade of Rescue residential homes or relatives of those who were part of child emigration schemes of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
We are currently handling 400 enquiries a year. Waiting times apply.
Our Post Adoption and Care service is managed by a professionally qualified Team Leader. Members of the team include social workers, counsellors and trained volunteers from related backgrounds.
