For people of all faiths and none

Secondary Lenten Appeal 2015

‘Who is your social neighbour?’

Our Lenten Appeal lesson for Secondary Schools focuses on the possible problems and serious consequences of social media misuse. We are encouraging students to reflect on the parable of the Good Samaritan when interacting with others online.
During Lent, we are also asking schools to raise money for our Crisis Fund. The Crisis Fund provides emergency assistance for families living in poverty. 100% of the money raised by Secondary School students goes straight into the Crisis Fund.

Participating schools receive-

·         Student leaflets providing information on the lesson and the Crisis Fund
·         Coin tubes to make fundraising easier
·         Letters for parents/ guardians on social media apps
·         Learning resources for teachers
