School Events

The Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster) Organises various events and Appeals targeted to Catholic schools within the Diocese. We hold Mass services in Westminster Cathedral  to commemorate fundraising efforts of pupils and teaching staff who constantly support the services that we offer to individuals living locally who are struggling to deal with material and emotional challenges.

February 2011 - Lenten Appeal Presentations to all participating schools and colleges

April 2011 - CCS(W) Ambassador ‘Inspiration Day’ - Pupils aged 16-18 gather for guidance and updates for their fundraising activities within their school. Speakers and Society staff address the students, play games and network over lunch

May  24th  - Good Shepherd Mass - Westminster Cathedral

A celebration of the  end of the season of Lent and a time to thank all supporters of the Appeal for their hard work in fundraising 

July 4th - 8th  - Inter School Sports Day - Various Locations / St. Charles Sixth Form College 

November 3rd - Senior School Liturgy Service - A chance for secondary school to show off their musical talents with a liturgical theme 

December 6th - Advent Carol Services -  Westminster Cathedral - Our ever popular service enjoyed by pupils and staff. Guest starring Larry the Donkey!
