Make a difference - become a Parish Advocate!

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and inspiring volunteers to lead our community engagement in parishes.  Our network of Parish Advocates will play a crucial role in supporting the work of CCS and making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and families.

What does a Parish Advocate do?

There are many different ways in which you can help make a difference as a Parish Advocate.  You can:

  • Raise awareness about the work of CCS by circulating our newsletters to fellow parishioners
  • Make your Parish Priest aware of our Crisis Fund and how it can be accessed to support local families in crisis
  • Organise fun parish events to raise funds for CCS (a bake sale, coffee morning etc.)
  • Help sell our charity Christmas cards within your parish

Will CCS help?

Yes!  We have a dedicated member of staff who can give you advice and help with all the different ways you can support CCS in your parish.  Training will also be provided so you have an excellent understanding of the work we do and the impact it has. These insights will help you inspire fellow parishioners to work together for the common good and make a difference to children’s lives.
